Biplab Sarma Commission report exposes Congress’ unbridled corruption-misdeeds’Congress denotes Corruption, Corruption denotes Congress’: Dilip Saikia
“The report submitted by Justice Biplab Kumar Sarma on corruption in the Assam Public Service Commission has thoroughly exposed the neck-deep corruption and misdeeds committed by the Congress regime headed by former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi. By pushing a generation to the abyss of darkness and meting out grave injustice to the meritorious and deserving candidates by opening a market for jobs by the then Government has been brought to the fore by the report.”
This was stated by BJP Party President, Assam Pradesh, Dilip Saikia at a Press Meet held at the State BJP Head Office here on Tuesday.
Saikia said the report has brought out startling disclosure on former Chief Minister late Tarun Gogoi and his son Gaurav Gogoi and has proved that corruption and Congress are two sides of the same coin. “Congress denotes Corruption, Corruption denotes Congress,” the Party President quipped.
Terming Tarun Gogoi as ‘Kingpin of Corruption’, Saikia said the Congress Party is answerable to the misdeeds of Gogoi as to why he appointed Rakesh Paul as Chairman of APSC.
The Party President said the Congress Party must bring out a White Paper on the mega scam during its rule and clarify its position to the people of the State. Saikia said by playing with the future of young generation of the State and pushing them into oblivion, those involved in this neck-deep corruption are enemies of the society at large.
Demanding exemplary punishment to those involved in the scam, the Party President said that the report has unmasked MP Gaurav Gogoi who keeps parroting on moral values and reforms.
Saikia urged the Government to take immediate punitive action against those involved in corruption, saying that no one is above law.
